Just pulled the trigger on Casio Oceanus S100...

...but not the one you may be thinking of, if familiar with this watch!

Became smitten with the silver/white version...

I had a look at a video and loved the seamlessness of silver body with silver dial, and in particular the 'XII' and 'VI' really complement the case and bracelet well...

To recap: solar, scratch-proof titanium carbide, radio sync to atomic time, perpetual calendar, world time function, 10 ATM, sapphire.

Congrats! You’re right, wasn’t the one I was thinking of...never seen this one before. The world time on these watches is so tastefully done. Not to mention you get sooo much for your money.

Is this your first titanium watch?

Good looking watch! Have been considering picking the dark dialed version up as the ultimate grab'n'go, but this one might be even nicer.

Post pics when you receive it!

I would have had one of these a long time ago, except that the first page of the instruction manual explains that it does not support the time zone for Newfoundland, Canada.

Hmm...there's been an issue. The company who sold it said a water pipe burst overnight and several items have been damaged. They offered a full refund.

I replied saying if it's just the packaging and the watch itself is alright, I'd be happy if they sent it to me in plain packaging and refunded $150.

    Let's see what happens...

I've looked at the blue one for a while, or at least the one with the blue indices. How does the GMT function on this watch?

just pull out the crown and move the seconds hand to the correct timezone shown round the outside, push crown back in and it auto-adjusts.

the seller said the watch itself had been damaged, actually a good thing (for me) as really i need a new laptop more than a new watch anyway...

yes Silent this would have been my first titanium.

How would a burst water pipe damage a watch with 10 atm of WR? I can see the packaging being a complete soggy mess but titanium should hold up to water just fine.
