Just purched Lesson 1 at TimeZone Watch School

Not sure if I should post this under Watchmaking or not so I thought I would just post under the main public forum to be safe.

I finally joined up and paid for the Lesson 1 on the TZ site. I am excited to learn a bit more about my hobby/obsession. Now I need to go get my tools!

    Awesome, me too!

What movement/kit did you get? I ordered the ETA 2801-2 kit, seemed like a reasonable start.

I haven't chosen the movement yet. After I get paid again on the 15th I'm going to purchase it and the took kit all at once.

Re: Just purched Lesson 1 at TimeZone Watch School

Taking the level 1 course from Timezone was one of the best things I've ever done in this hobby; it was tons of fun and unbelievably educational. I'm sure you'll have a blast and by the time you're done you'll know more about the workings of a mechanical watch than even most people on this forum!
    Cheers,
    Greg
