    Just started, 3 watch collection

    Hi all

I'm pretty new to this world and thought I would say hello and show the beginnings of my collection.

I'm thinking of a new dress watch and some point and maybe a GMT from Farer. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Sporty/Dressy, Chrono, Diver (love it), looks like the foundation is covered.

GMT for sure would be nice, dedicated dress watch makes sense too.

    Great start!

Sure, a GMT and a more formal style watch would round out the collection. The best part of the search is up to you, go watchrecon my friend.

Since you're just starting, it may take a while to figure out your likes and dislikes. Once that happens, things start to make a little more sense. Just enjoy the ride...there is no right/wrong way to experience this hobby.

    Thanks

Terrible pic of the Aquis i know, but i am really pleased with it. Considering the grey rubber oem and getting a lovely aqua coloured leather strap for it.

Looks like a really solid baseline. Good work/taste.

Welcome. I would say check out some Seiko 5 line watches to jump into your first automatic (is the Oris quatz?). They are affordable and many different styles.

The Oris is my first automatic. I may well go with getting a seiko automatics dress watch

I've had my eye on a Farer GMT for a while. It's certainly a great watch for a beginning --or advanced-- collection.
