Keep losing out on buying watches from members!

Every time I PM members in the for sale section for the watch I want, I either get no reply or it sells like instantly. This watch I'm after must be like crack lol. Even today I found one and agreed to pay and the seller informed me it sold last night. Uhh. Maybe I'll just have to suck it up and pay full retail from the manufacturer.

I've seen that watch on the WTS forum quite a few times and they don't get sold THAT fast.

I found your problem. You're trying to buy a hideous watch. Edit "sarb017" to "sarb035" and you'll be fine

Not a lot of watches look like the SARB017. It's a pretty strong choice if you want something unique and fun.

The great thing about WUS's sales section is that a lot of the sellers are just regular folks flipping a watch and hoping it gets a good home, so often the prices are very reasonable. The downside is that the forum is full of people who recognize a fair deal when they see it and jump on it. Unless you're quick, you might need to wait for a seller who's a little greedy, so the watch sticks around for awhile.

Can't you pick up SARB017 relatively easy on eBay or Amazon? They are on the affordable spectrum.
Looking at Watchrecon - prices for preowned ones are not that much cheaper than new ($320 vs $370 - I'd pay extra $50 for a new one)

Re: Keep losing out on buying watches from members!

As @watch_hot and @Liketheshiney so politely noticed the SARB017 is a watch, only a mummy watch could love.
But that's what I like, its green, Really Green, and knobly. Some watches just benefit from strong looks, its sort of counter intuitive, but it really does work.
The SARB035 is a lovely watch too, just a little subtler.
