    killer finds

I'm sure this Has already been done. But I couldn't find it so here is a New one

You always hear about someone finding an expensive, unique, or rare watch in a garage sale , goodwill, antique mall etc... it doesnt happen often. But every now and then some one has a big come up. Sometimes people selling things just dont know what they have.

Post up your killer finds. Im curious as to how lucky some of you have been.

    Gifts dont count lol..

Well there are a bunch of these threads, and aren't always as good as you think simply because those amazing deals you want to see are pretty rare... there are a couple in here though. And a couple of pretty recent threads I'm pretty sure I didn't find are out there too if you do some searching...

I couldn't find a watch if I fell out of an aeroplane into a factory that made the things so I'll bow out.

I once went into a uk jeweler called Leslie Davies. they had seven ball watches out as specials. they were all 75 percent off as they where returns. but amazingly you got the signed ball warranty. I had a shareholders card for that store so got another 10 percent off and then exported them to Swiss so I got another 13% back. I bought all seven. best was a ball worldtime chronograph that ended up costing about 450 pounds instead if 3000! it didn't run so well so I set it to ball and it got a service for free. happiest day if my life. u still have 4 of the watches.
