Las Vegas: Where to check out preowned pieces

    Hi Guys,

Headed to vegas for a weekend with the guys (14 of us). Hoping it's gonna be a great time. Perhaps I am optimistic but I am hoping to check out some used watches while up there. Nothing particular in mind...but can anyone recommend a place where I can get some decent prices on used pieces (pawn shops or otherwise)?

Here in St. Louis the pawn shops seem to want more for their watches than authorized dealers lol (not to mention their selection is abysmal). Recently in Baltimore I saw a Swiss army watch that sells for ~$400 with a $700 sticker in a pawn shop window . I've heard the Vegas ones are better.

    Thanks in advance
    NM

great thread, I'm headed to Vegas in early May and I am also curious if there is any good watch shops to check out (other than full MSRP at the boutiques of course )

You could always check out the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop - the one in Pawn Stars
    Are you watching closely?

Haha crazyfingers I actually really enjoy that show...but those guys don't seem like the type that'd give you a good deal...not unless Chumlee was there and the other guys were out.

For preowned, Tourneau in Caesars Palace has quite a few, but the prices cost almost as much as brand new.

You can check out Pawn shop row(a street by the Sahara where the whole street is lined with pawn shops), but I've never found anything worthwhile.

The other place that I know sells preowned is Tower of Jewels on E. Sahara Ave. They regularly advertise that they buy and sell preowned Rolexes.

I think Lost Wages is much better for scopin' out new watches.

Off topic, and you'll probably have a zillion other things going on there, but whenever I'm in Vegas I always make it a point to visit Lotus of Siam, called the best Thai restaurant in North America.

Humble little place in a beat up shopping center, but awesome and not expensive. I have no connection with the place other than as a very happy eater! http://www.saipinchutima.com/
