Late Christmas, 2 incoming, snubbing my in-house snobbery.

I was blessed with 2 late Christmas incoming.

As hinted before, one is a chronograph and the other rather on a whim but it is growing on me.

I always liked non-date versions of Rolex due to my dislike of the cyclops, and the funky nature of this watch along with the lightening bolt second hand is whimsical and is growing on me.

Here is the incoming #1 - Rolex Milgauss:

    Wrist shot:

Now, here is something of a sort of grail worth watch that just dropped into my doorstep today.
I operated the chrono and wow! what a smooth operating chrono it is!!
I am guessing this watch is the right step out of my in-house snobbery at its finest!!!

#2 - Vacheron Constantin Royal Eagle - with Piguet columnwheel chrono.

    Frosted textured dial is fantastic:

    Fully curved body and crystal:

    Wrist shot:

Thanks for watching and have a safe and wonderful holidays!! May the watch god look after you.

Nice watches, I'm especially fond of the Milgauss.

I guess I'll have to buck the early trend here. I'm not a fan of the Milgauss but that VC is drop dead gorgeous!!

Well the Milgauss is on my shortlist for 2013 (same reason as you - I dislike the cyclops on Rolex) so I am bound to like this choice.

I haven't done much research on VC so this watch is new on me. I'll look it up.

Thanks for sharing your lovely pics (PS - snowing where you are by any chance??)

You're my hero! As if a Vacheron Constantin isn't enough of a reason to celebrate, but you go and acquire a Rolex as an impulse buy!?! The VC is unique by default as most will never see one in the wild unless they go to an AD to see one. But that choice of Rolex is unique as well, it differs from the multitude of Submariners and Datejusts out there. Congrats on two awesome watches!
