    Or just don't worry about it, why wear something that's exposed to all sorts of risks if one worries about scratches?? I could never understand that??

    I know you asked about scratches from strap changes but essentially it's all the same really, enjoy that watch Dude

    I prefer to not get the scratches in the 1st place. I will use masking tape on the lugs, then pull off when done.

    I use masking tape while Im changing straps/links etc. Tape over the whole watch strap, then go slowly. Remove when done, boom. No scratches.
