    I would go for the Longines, except I would get the version with the stainless steel bezel instead of the DLC/PVD version. I would not, however, keep it on a rubber strap. If there is a bracelet option, i would go for that, if there is not, I would invest in a high quality strap, perhaps waterproof sharkskin.

    The black bezel on the Conquest is actually ceramic and its black polished finish stands out and is very eye-catching ... maybe too eye-catching.
    On the other hand, the Sapphire Crystal + Ceramic Bezel combo is very scratch-resistant, on the watch surface at least.

    That is msrp. You can get it for 1100 on eBay all day long. There's plenty of Tags that don't match the quality of this RW that cost more than 1600 and use a 2824.

    Looks great on leather strap! Let me wear on steel for somedays and then switch over to leather strap. I couldnt find one with leather.
