Longines Flagship Heritage models from the early 2000s?

I came across these Longines Flagship Heritage models on WatchBase that appear to have been released in the early 2000s. There no real first hand reviews on the internet regarding them, and there's not many examples for purchase. Perhaps they were a limited run? Anyhow, i'm wondering if anyone has any more insight on this series. I'm intrigued as they appear to be pretty faithful re-editions, even more so than the current Heritage Flagship models.

    Hi,
I have an insight on the original Flagship... Much better than any re-edition ;)

My impression is I like the simple sub seconds model a lot. Longines stayed with a 35mm case which enhances the retro vibe. If you like the look the go for one and enjoy. Be sure to have the movement serviced as it's running dry by now. I have a vague recollection of positive comments by a few owners on another forum back then.
