    Longines Legend Diver First Impressions

Mailman was good today! Was fortunate enough to find a recently serviced no date sample and had to pull the trigger. Thought about this one for months, did tons of research and always loved the aesthetics of it but my biggest concern was the size, more specifically the lug to lug but fortunately not an issue as it turns out. Yes with a lug to lug of 52 mm its by no means a small watch but with my wrist at 7 1/2 - 7 3/8 I can pull off just fine. Was concerned about lug overhang, would say for most wrists at 7” or above this is not an issue. The watch looks great, buttery smooth winding, very unique look and of course a strap monster. My biggest complain would be the strap, think they could have done better but its already off the watch and on a JPM. Also lume is fairly basic but fits the overall look of watch. Below some pics as well as my Tudor BB for refence for size/wrist comparison.

Are the lugs really longer than the Tudor?

    Love the way that looks!

    Congrats man!!
The ND version is on my wishlist as well. Seems pretty scarce from my casual monitoring.
    Love the oem strap too..

Very nice and congrats. I purchased an Oris Divers 65 earlier this summer, but this Longines is right up there with it in my mind for retro-inspired dive watches.

Fellow ‘65 owner (42mm). Fellow Longines Legend Lover. Great find. Was on vacation last year and bumped into fellow passenger wearing one. You he’s gotta be a Watch Guy.

Congrats. It's a very cool watch, just a little long in the lugs for my 6.75" wrist. It's a shame because I'd love to have one.

My "vintage" diver is the 40mm Oris Divers 65.

Same thought here. Congrats, elbluemen, especially on finding the no-date version!
