Depends on wrist size. Longines doesn't wear as well on thin wristed folks due to the long lug to lug.

That Longines is one of the most gorgeous divers in the entry level price range.
I'd definitely urge you to do it!

I own the white dial version of the Seamaster GMT. There's no way in Hell this senior would trade it for the Legend Diver. By all means wear what pleases you, but the Omega is a better watch. I seriously considered the LLD a couple years ago, but didn't like the long lugs on my wrist.

I am no senior member but for what it's worth I'd keep the seamaster gmt.

I think it depends a bit on what you already own or plan to own. That Longines is one classy wear and is as close to a beach to boardroom dive watch as can be had in that price range. The Longines clearly can be dessier if desired. Choice of the right strap is important. The Omega is a casual wear. The bracelet might be nicer than a strap for very warm weather. How you typically dress and your activities might influence your choice. If you typically dress semi formally for work, the Longines would be my choice, and I might pick up a Seiko Monster to fill the void for the beach, very casual wear, or hot weather (depending on how comfortable you are with strap changes). If you typically dress casually, I might opt for the Omega and add an affordable dress watch to fill that need.

I would keep the Seamaster. I had a LLD no date and I have a Seamaster 2254, which is very similar to yours. I found the faux-patina lost its appeal over time and that the all the shine and polish on the LLD made it difficult to match with casual clothes. I also have a feeling that the faux-vintage look will not age that well. I think it's a trend that will pass. I also found that the curved caseback and the long lugs on the LLD made it a less comfortable watch. I found it didn't sit as nicely on my wrist as my Seamaster. Still the LLD is a beautiful watch. I think it's one of the few watches worth owning in the sub $5000/ETA based price range.
