    Looking for an all-purpose watch

    Hi.

I've bought a Vostok Komandirskie recently. It is a good beater but leaves me wanting something more.

I want a watch that has a leather strap, has a clean face (No chronos), and is under $400 USD. I don't want something thick. It needs good lume as well... I'd like a handwinding and a hacking movement but it's not a deal-breaker.

I like the face of this watch, but I don't like the thick bezel/thick case... And it doesn't hand wind or hack.

I'm thinking Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 42mm. It's a classic, thin, non-chrono, swiss-made auto (you can wear it OR wind it to charge the mainspring) with hacking (auto's hack, mechanicals don't), and it's in your price range:

I have one (I paid about $350+/-), and it's a great value for the price.

That's a really nice watch. Is there anything like it but without numbers?

Hamilton Jazzmaster for $425 at Amazon you can get it in silver or black with either brown or black strap. Sorry it has some numbers.
