    Looking for a classic watch

I have been searching for a while now but haven't found a watch that meets my criteria.

    • Roman Numerals
    • Red Second Hand
    • White/Beige Dial
    • Minimalist design
    • ( Spade / Breguet / Baton ) hour/minute hands.
    • Quartz > Automatic (I want that tick-tock sound)

I don't want to give up searching, but are there any custom watch makers that can help me manufacture a watch like this?

I am confused by the Quartz > Automatic requirement. The greater than sign implies quartz is desirable yet you want a tick tock sound presumably from an automatic.

This Epos Originale meets most of your requirements. The lovely blued seconds hand could easily be painted red.

I suppose the OP wants a kinetic watch. I have no idea what kind of sound they make.

The Sea-Gull 819.368 meets the requirements, although as with the Epos the second hand is blue. That's if you'd be happy with a Chinese made watch with a low end movement. It'd be helpful to know what the budget is, but as a much better alternative (and assuming you can compromise with a blue second hand), check out the Pharo line at Limes Watches.

I was referring to the quartz sound being much more desirable, but I would be okay with an automatic if it meets all requirements.

Thank you for excellent suggestion. I am not skilled enough to replace + repaint the second hand. :/

I don't mind if it's Chinese made as long as it's good quality.
My budget is under $1000. I don't require any complication. It doesn't have to be too fancy. I can't justify myself paying over $1k (yet).

If you can live with the hands being blued I think that Epos Originale would be a fine choice.

You might want to relax the want for a red second hand as the rest of your criteria tend to point towards a dressy watch and the two don’t usually mix.

Maybe vintage watches fit the bill. You do say "classic" after all. I like my 60s Waltham and Invicta in large part because of the discrete, red arrowhead shape of the second hand. And for your budget you can go solid gold with a vintage watch. Bonus.

Quartz ticks and tocks (slowly), automatic ticks, ticks, ticks (fast).

I've never had a quartz make a tick tock sound...mostly tick tick tick
