Looking for input on next watch

I am looking for a little insight to finding my next watch :) I don't know a lot of the brands and models out therre.
When I first got interested in watches I found myself buying anything that caught my eye. Without thinking about how or when I would wear any particular watch.
Having something nice to pass down to my Grandson someday is Plus.

After buying several "affordable" watches, I have decided to build a "selection" of watches, instead of a "collection". I now think about when and how I would use any given watch.
While buying fewer watches, but aiming for a higher quality watch.

So onto my search. I have a blue Orient XL on a leather strap that I wear almost every weekend. The watch is just too big for me at 44-45 mm. I am looking for something to replace the Orient. My price range is max $3k. Prefer 42 mm max, 40 Ideal

The SINN 556 B, is the right size/color/finish, but the dial seems a little plain.
The others I am considering are the Breitling Superocean II(42) or Colt 41(a lot of polishing on this one. Could be a scratch magnet for me)
I recently saw the new Navitimer 8 41 that looks nice. Seems a little $$ and not very Breitling. I have also considered the Blue Tag Aquaracer 42(won't feel as bad if it gets banged up).

I already own a Longines Conquest in white, Omega 300m in black and SARB035. All of these get regular wear throughout the week(s)
and would like to add a different blue dial sport.

I am leaning toward the Navitimer 8 41mm. It seems to be the right color and size.
Any thoughts on this one would be great.

Can anyone suggest a Mid-Tier Blue dial sport watch from a known brand?
Of the ones I am considering

Alexander Shorokhoff ... in your price range and certainly more interesting than a Breitling.

Are you looking to buy something new or open to used/grey market pieces?

In a perfect world, would the watch be on a bracelet or leather? It always seems to me that there are a lot more options on leather, but if you’re decidedly looking for a bracelet the field narrows a bit.

    WOW thanks for the responses!
I am not dead set on a bracelet, I will most likely be putting it on a Vintage style leather. I do like to buy with bracelet for alternatives and buying the bracelets cost more if buying separately later

New, Grey, preowned- all okay with me!

Do you have a model # for the BBBlue?
I do like the Vintage Tudors with matching Bezel and dial, but they seem out of my price range.
The Tudor BB58 would be great, the Pelagos Blue is awesome, but I have not seen in person. Can anyone describe the blue? .

What is the thoughts on Christopher Ward, I do not know anything about them

I also like the ORIS 65, but not a fan of the Black bezel w/blue dial. Blue on Blue ideal
Does anyone make something like the Blue Tudor in a 40-41mm

Kinda dig the Alexander Shorokhoff designs! not quite sport enough for this buy, but definitely saw a few I like.

Personally I like the Aqua Terra blue dial. Bonus it has a few different sizes.

Yes The AT in 39.5 is beautiful one, that was one of the first ones I considered. I forgot to mention that one in the list!

would you consider the Breitling Premier Automatic? 40mm x 11.6mm and 47mm lug-to-lug. Pricey, but i've been kinda liking the looks of this one:
