Question Looking for an "Italian" watch... TB Buti ?

Hello all. I have been keeping myself busy with the Anonimo threads lately, and have become enamored by them. I have traditionally been a Panerai fan, but from a few years back when they were still up and coming. When I bought my first Panerai I remember telling everyone that it would be the next Rolex... And sure enough it's becoming that way in terms of popularity. After I left the company I was working for, I came back for a visit and 5 other people had Panerai's on their wrist they were dying to show me...

Anyway, I too love the idea of exclusivity and uniqueness, and love the Italian styling of Anonimo. I was just curious if anyone had any input on the TB Buti line. From what I know they are very pricey, in comparison to Anonimos anyway.

I had a look on the website.
They look very nice, buy I think it is a pity they use the diamonds in most of the watches.
I would love to cee more "tech" on the website. Movements, WR, size ets.
    I could not find it.
Compared to Anonimo (love them too, but do not own one yet) I would call them "tarted up ". Similar design, do you not think so?

Tommaso Buti's exclusive watches are assembled in Italy using basic ETA movements in fashion cases at nose-bleed prices (over 25K). He describes himself as a 'trendsetter' rather than as a watchmaker, or even designer. There's room for all.

    Aha! Basic ETA.
At that price you expect something inhouse made.

    Manometro

Have a look at the Manometro range. Designed by Giuliano Mazzouli. I think much nicer than either of the other 2 Italian brands you've mentioned.
