Looking for my first nice watch (clean design, Milanese bracelet)

Hi guys, this is my first post on WuS!
Have been reading a lot on the forums though, but hopefully I didn't miss a similar post like the one I'm typing right now.

Okay, so I'm looking to buy my first nice watch and I'm really into minimal, clean design. For intance, I got a Uniform Wares watch (the one on the right), which I love:

I did a lot of research to find out what I like and it turns out that I would love to get a Chrono (or something similar) with a Milanese bracelet.
Some of the watches that I like a lot are:

This is the Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope, I think it's great and it's on top of my list.

The IWC Portofino Chronograph, I think its amazing, but it's also over-budget.

Another cool one, the Chronograph 1938 from Stowa.

The Nomos Tangente Datum, again, also a great watch. I also really like the Toki edition, but it's pretty hard to find one..

Last but not least, the Meistersinger Chronoskop (limited edition). I almost bought this one today at an online auction for around EUR 1700,- ($2300,-), but it ended up going for EUR 2250,-. The thing about this one is, I can't seem to find it anywhere else, so I might have the wrong details on this one.

I love all these watches, but I'm kinda stuck right now. I don't know which one's the best to choose and I also would love to have some more options if you guys know some.
My budget is around EUR 1500,- or around $2000,- so the IWC is out of reach for now.

Let me know what you think!

    Thanks in advance.

You already chose the best options you can have , I would say all these watches are top notch and just get the one that appeals to you the most and you think has the right price .

I don't own any of this pieces but they are all excellent pieces. I suggest to do an extensive research on all of them. These are all high quality watches so IMO you will be safe buying any. At the end, pick the one you absolutely love. That's the best advice Ive gotten here before.

The Junghans would be my choice.

    Good luck

    I like the IWC,

For normal people like me I like the Stowa and the Nomos.

I think you've researched this very well and have chosen the watches that best fit your criteria - although the Nomos isn't a chronograph (but it's so pretty we'll let that slide). The Max Bill stands out as a 'top pick' with the minimalist crowd although the plexi crystal concerns some. I figure that any aspiring WIS needs to learn how to polish a crytal quickly so don't consider it a drawback. The IWC is just a great design but not minimalist. The Stowa is a good 'bang for the buck' watch but the ornate crown and 'look at me" date window just don't capture the Bauhaus spirit - IMO. So it's really Just the Nomos and the MB - to chrono or not to chrono, that is the question. But you started out saying you wanted a chrono, so.......

Pretty neat little guide that covers most of the watches you've mentioned (and more)... Bauhaus inspired watches/brands:

Thanks for all the quick feedback guys, I'm happy to hear I already made a list with some great options.
I kept getting pulled toward the Junghans, so yesterday I bought it, super happy about it!

    Thanks again
