    Looking for a new watch

So I am looking for a new watch to use for everyday wear, so far the top one is a damasko da36 with bracelet, but i'd like some other options
    -smaller than 40mm
    -bracelet
    -chronograph would be nice
    -under $2k
    -automatic

    Sinn 356 Flieger Acrylic

or the 556i on bracelet is always nice for a non-chronograph.

If you are OK with 40mm... Max Bill chrono would be my ultimate choice (also in white):

    Looking for a new watch

I was going to recommend the Longines column-wheel chronograph but it comes on a leather strap... You could put a staib mesh on it, that would be pretty sexy...

Edit: Sorry just realized a bit over budget even with grey market...

I like the speedy reduced but I just can't get over the 60-5 numbers on the dial and the ill fitting end links.

Re: Looking for a new watch

New automatic chronographs under 40mm are a rarity but there are some nice ones from the 90's to mid 2000's. If I was going to buy another chronograph I'd be looking for one of these Ebels. Excellent quality with a superb in-house cal 137. They are 40mm but all 1911's tend to wear a touch smaller than their dimensions. It's a long shot as to whether you find the design attractive but it would be my choice.

Zenith also made some 38mm-40mm El Primero chrono's in this era but their used prices tend to be in the $2.5k+ range. Plenty of manufacturers also made similar sized models with Lemania 5100's and of course Val/ETA 7750's. In any case, the short of it is that you'll find much more to choose from if you consider the used market.
