looking for a nice watch on leather bands

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a "nice" watch on leather bands. I've just started this search, so I'd appreciate any suggestions/recommendations. Putting price aside for now, which models do you guys like?

So far in the mix are:

    PAM
    IWC
    Breguet
    Longines
    JLC
    Lange

But I'm up for looking at anything else.

    :thanks

Toss in Girard-Perregaux, Eterna and Glashutte Original.

Could you tell us what specs you are looking for?

    Case size
    Diver, Dress
    Chrono
    Dial color

Longines makes nice watches but not quite in the league of the others..

Not really sure, Mike. But I know that I probably want to stay away from divers since I have a bunch of those (on bracelet).

So probably dressy or chrono. I can go either way on dial color. I guess I'm looking for something that would go well with a suit.

If we are talking "Lange" as being "A. Lange et Sohn"?

Then, why exclude Vacheron Constantin and Patek?

Ulysee Nardin also comes to my mind.
    Chronic flipper...

Nice choices, but do you have any particular models in mind?

I'm a fan of the GO Pano-manual... reasonable alternative would be the Wempe Chronometerwerke CW1 manual with twin-barrell 80 hr reserve.

On the Swiss side, JLC Master Calendar, or perhaps 7-day or the new 38mm/40mm ultra thins.

IWC Portuguese 7-day or Chrono (gold tone hands/markers with blue chrono hands is my favorite).

For something a bit funkier, my personal goal is the Zenith Class Open EP RDM.

I would get the IWC Panda Doppelchrono but it's too big for me at 44mm.
