    Welcome Mac!

What you're looking for is a chronograph watch - lots of them use the same movement - the ETA 7750 chronograph (which is why they have the subdials and date in the same place). $1000-1500 is about as cheap as it's going to get for a 7750 watch.

    Something like this, maybe

Revue Thommen Diver Professional Chronograph for $.1,560 for sale from a Trusted Seller on Chrono24Name: 1476288gross.jpg

Or even an Omega Speedmaster reduced (meaning a bit smaller - 39mm, which is still fine)

i like that 3rd watch, but at the same time i'd really like something that more resembles the chronomat....i think its called a "homage" watch...

    Maybe a Citizen CA0030-61E:

Or a (more expensive than the Citizens, but not Breitling price) Tag Heuer Aquaracer:

I don't think you actually want a homage... they're usually pretty low quality. Instead, look for something in a similar style, from an actual watch company.

Never heard of Xezo but the 7750 is a solid movement.

    I don't know of a chronomat homage I'm afraid.
