Looking for a watch: grey or white dialed pilot

I summon thee, savants of temporal matters!

I have a vision for a watch and strap combo, but I haven't found the watch yet. The requirements are that it be a pilot-esque watch with a white or grey dial. 20mm lugs and about 42mm size is preferred. It can be automatic or quartz. The more affordable the better, but who hasn't spent too much on a really cool watch?

    Any ideas?

edit: forgot, it needs to be a 3 hander.

Bremont do a range of white/grey dialled pilot watches and are available used at good prices. I think they're all 22mm lugged, but if you can get over that, they make some really classy watches.

Take a look at some of the Junkers models. This is one I'm considering, it's supposed to be released next month:

Also look at Laco, maybe Stowa, and MG for other options.

Re: Looking for a watch: grey or white dialed pilot

I have an Archimede Pilot 42mm white dial as my (mostly) summer watch. Love the big crown and the sandblasted finish. The lume is weak though, and the flat crystal lacks a bit of panache (there's a domed, antireflective option as well, but it costs extra). The sandblasted finish is perhaps less forgiving of surface dings and scratches than a standard brushed look, but it works well otherwise. At just over $500, it's pretty near the entry point of ETA 2824 and sapphire crystal, so you'll likely be trading off one of them to go down the price scale. Aristo has a couple of options with luminous dials - not pure white, but off white. They were available at longislandwatch.com a few months ago.

Thanks for the great suggestions! Bremonts are awesome, but the price is kinda huge. Stowa is probably the best bang for buck, but I'm oddly drawn to the Junkers.
