Looking at your watch in the bathroom mirror, and it's stopped!

Does anyone else get caught out when you are admiring your watch you're wearing in the bathroom mirror while brushing your teeth, only for for your heart to miss a beat because it's stopped, then realise that the seconds hand is going in the opposite direction because of the mirror image? I hope that makes sense.

Anyway, I get caught about every fortnight..

    LOL

However I brush with left and wear watch on right, so I am immune to this luckily.

Nothing is better at stopping the heart than checking the time on your Rolex and realising it really has stopped.

Once I glanced at my wrist, can't remember if I was checking the time or just looking at the watch, I do that sometimes, when at that exact moment I looked, the second hand stopped. I don't know why it disturbed me so much but I did find myself questioning my own mortality for weeks. These day I make certain to wind my manuals when I put them on.

Worse, you suddenly realise your watch is running backwards..

Do it again, turn out the light, and repeat "Candyman" three times.

This has happened to me a few times as well, most recently just last night. Glad I'm not the only one.

Never do that, could break your watch ..... that makes your watch run backwards, bad for the movement

I can say I've never had that happen, but I can imagine the surprise when you looked!
