Love the watch, hate the band!

    Just got it today...

But I’m so un impressed with that band.
Very sharp/rough edges, buckle sounds/feels flimsy, not a fan of the way it looks and I hate flat ends, I like curved ends much more.

    Any suggestions?

I tried this leather one I already had around...

Fits and feels MUCH more comfortable but I feel like it doesn’t match great.

Any recommendations for a stainless band that fits well?

I think the leather looks great. That's the direction I'd go.

Congrats on a beautiful watch. Why did you buy it on steel mesh though if you hate the way it looks? Why not return it and get one on rubber or leather and buy a steel bracelet separately?

I have an old SuperOcean and the bracelet is excellent quality. The only aftermarket bracelets I have used are from strap code; they are good for the price but not comparable to any of my Swiss Made bracelets. You could try to buy a second hand Breitling bracelet or buy one directly from Breitling but that will be pretty expensive ($1,500+ if I had to guess).

Well honestly, I’ve never seen it in person or tried it on before. I bought it online and no returns accepted.

I love the watch, and it’s my first “real” Breitling.

I love the Superocean bracelet too. Would it fit on this watch?

You would need to measure the width. Is yours the 42mm or 46mm. If it is the 42mm then it is a 22/20 bracelet which is the same as the regular SuperOcean.

Of course it's your own personal opinion on the bracelet, but I think that's possibly the best mesh bracelet I've ever seen and the quality of that mesh bracelet is fantastic. I think it's incredibly well made and you made a great purchase of a beautiful watch. That watch absolutely would look fantastic on a number of brown leather straps, and you could easily purchase a rubber or silicone strap for the watch that would look great as well. Even if you're not sure about it now, you might warm to the look of that bracelet over time and purchasing that watch on the bracelet is l the best value for what you're getting when you can get the other types of straps aftermarket common on Breitling, for as good or better than what Breitling would give you. Give the look some time as it's a great one!

You may feel like the bracelet is not as well made because the mesh itself has space in it and is not quite as dense as a typical stainless linked bracelet.

I think it'd look better on black leather.

I think it looks much better on the leather. Personally, I've never been a fan of mesh. Very nice watch!

I would just keep it on the leather. I am not fan of the mesh myself and would change it to leather or rubber in summertime.

I know it's the 46mm model with the 24mm bracelet.
