Well, Traser is the original and is actually the manufacturer of the GTLS Tubes. I'd go with a Traser

Of these three, I'd take the Luminox. I have one and like it very much.

You did say beater...in my mind that is one you don't care if it gets destroyed. To me that is a CBP. G shock or Casio. Timex Ironman. That's why the guys that beat them up the most (the military) use them. If I beat the tar out of my $170 Luminox or Traser..I would not be happy. If I smashed a 50 Casio....no foul. If your looking for a beater, don't buy a watch you personally like. Get one that does the job and can be replaced easily. My beater is a very old (but still running) Casio Illuminator. 50 bucks in the early to mid 90's..still priceless now when I need to go into a site and just might slam it into a steam line or some other hazard.

    Just my two cents.

I do understand your point Beach Hound.
But I am looking for a watch that actually can handle a beating and a cheap 50 dollar watch will show the beating after a while.
I work 5 to 6 days a week from 10 to 22:00 or later and I have only one beater watch on my wrist all the time and now I want something else.

Untill now I always wear my G-Shock and it still looks good and it can handle everything I throw at it.
But I'm getting bored of wearing the same watch all the time.

Now I am looking for an analog watch and I would like one with the tritium markers because I always work till late in the evening.

I would say the Luminox too, but I have a Tawatec that is just great and has stood up to some serious "daily beatings".......

Fair enough...i have a 4 or 5 that i rotate for nasty work. The CBP' s i wear when its really a high probability its going to see high vibration or other nasty stuff...if I'm in the office...the Brietling may show up or the 57 timex...i completely understand wanting something new. I like the p6500 myself....

The Tawatec Titan Diver is a step up from the EO Diver shown above. It has a titanium case, sapphire crystal, and reliable Swiss Ronda quartz movement. I have the black IP chrono version, and it rocks. Not a mark on it:

    Good luck!

Id take a Ball, may be engeneer ll. Now I have cheap tritium watch Swiss Precimax and I happy whith it. Lum better than Luminox (cheap model), accurancy about 5-7 seconds/month saphire crystal and good water resist.
