    Markings on caseback

I recently picked up a Raymond Weil watch in a charity shop which has some markings on the back:

    PLAQUE OR G 10M

Presumably this is something to do with the goldplating or gold fill? Is there a good online guide watch hallmarks?

Not sure about a good resource for hallmarks - but the Plaque or G 10M does refer to the gold electroplate/fill, in this case, 10 microns of it.
