Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Skeleton anyone own one?

Love this watch and it may be my next purchase. Would love input from anyone who owns one or has experience with this watch. I have never seen it in person.

    thanks

    Briefly.

Just remember that this is a mechanical watch with no complications. Whilst it is prefectly fine you can account for 150% of the purchase price being due to it being "pretty".

You should try to see this in person before deciding.
In reality, it is less interesting and much "flatter" than the press/promo photos make it out to be.
    It is also rather big.

The Squelette Chronograpghe LE works much better because of the extra gear works and sub dials.

This is a very modern looking skeletonized watch, and while it looks cleanly done, it lacks a certain visual interest to me, compared to more traditionally styled skeletonized watches.

The one Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece watch that particularly speaks to me is the Regulateur Roue Caree.

Not that good looking and very hard to read the time which I don't like.

If you like skeleton, try to get your hands on a Jochen Benzinger. He (the shop) does WONDERS with skeletonized watches and quite readable IMHO.

Example: This is just about $9k and all works are done by hand. (picture courtesy of watchbuys)
