Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece OR Tag Heuer Carrera?

Hey guys. I'm trying to decide between these two watches. Want your feedback and opinions.

Personally, I would rather have the Tag.

Much cleaner and attractive design. It is somewhat similar to the IWC 3714, which is one of the best looking chronographs on the market IMO. The ML is too busy for me, and I generally prefer Tag over ML at this point in time.

That being said, you should be honest with yourself about which one sings a little louder. Most importantly, you need to love the watch.

Well, with the TAG, there's contrast and cost of service or repair will be less.

Looks alone, I'd go with the Tag. There's just way too much going on with the ML for my liking.

Personally I like the ML much more than the Tag. However you have to decided which is more functional to you. The ML looks much nicer and more unusual to me but the retrograde date on will be much harder to read.

That's a tough one. Two good looking watches. I think I'd pick the TAG, but ask me again in 30 minutes and I could pick the ML. Either way, you'll get a nice looking watch.

I like to match watches to outfits (matching leathers and such) so ask yourself what you wear more often and whether you're dressy or casual. That might help. Or not. Good luck!

I like ML watch here more... but - would go with Tag

Maurice Lacroix company is currently up for sale and future is uncertain. The prices may plunge if they close doors or sell to someone who is only interested in brand\goodwill and scraps manufacture. ALso, ability to service inhouse ML Masterpiece movement in the future is very questionable.

Do you want a chrono or a watch with a Power Reserve complication?

For that kind of money there are other chronos I'd rather have, but there significantly less watches similar to the ML.

So I'd rather have the funky, dressy ML than chrono that has dress pretentiopns and legivility issues.
