Here's my Mickey, I got it about three years ago at Disney World. They had only this one left, it was discontinued. I really like green so it was perfect for me. Back says 'Disney Timeworks' I think.

I've had this Mickey Mouse since I was a kid. I'm guessing it's from around 1972, but don't know for certain.

Has anyone seen the limited edition (No's 1 through 123) chronograph Disney is offering exclusively to their D23 members? Branding is very subtle. The three chrono dials form a "hidden mickey" which should be familiar to Disney fans. I'm not sure what I think about the gold-tone case and stainless steel back and crown combo. This watch uses a quartz Hattori VD54 movement.

There's no way that this watch is as cool as the 2007 Disney shareholders edition automatic. However, as "Mickey" watches go, this one isn't a bad choice for the "stealth" Disney fan.

Thanks, Andy - it makes me smile, too. This is one of the few watches I own that has incredible sentimental value to me. It was a gift from my grandparents and I've owned it most of my life. Although it was forgotten for many years, I had it restored about 10 years ago and now keep it in top-condition, getting it serviced regularly and wearing it often. I remember wearing it to a pen show (I'm a fountain pen nut and retailer in my spare time) and getting lots of smiles from the customers who came by my booth. Not only is it'a great conversation piece, but it serves as a constant reminder not to take life too seriously.

    for Mickey!

This one was from my sons as a Father's Day gift a few years ago when we were at Disney Land:

I put it on a vintage Tropic style, I think it's perfect and I will cherish this watch forever because it is from my boys.

    My favorite though is this:

Takes a few hours to get used to, but when I put on a standard watch it takes even longer to get back to normal I have another in different colors that my wife gave me ages ago but it is really small (like 32mm) so I never wear it.

    Cheers,
    Griff

This goofy little watch runs backwards!

pyiyha and Real Artman like this.
"Forever is composed of nows." - Emily Dickinson

"The watch has to be surrounded by a history.
You need more than just a great design. You need to create an atmosphere around the product.
Who is the company behind it? Why are they using this material?
People need to be able to identify the watch with themselves. It's based on emotion." - Ralph Furter

...that's just my opinion and I've been wrong before and will be again and might be now!

Him and her Mickey Mouse watches on a deal of the day site for today, 11/25. Never used the site before so can't vouch for the reliability of the vendor:
