    Micro Brands to follow

    Hello,
I am new here and am invested in building a 3-4 watch collection of micro brands. Below are the brands I am tracking. Is there any others you would recommend?

    - Halios
    -Oak & Oscar
    -NTH
    -MKII
    -Autodromo
    -Aevig

I keep a close eye on what Scurfa are up to. Not difficult as Paul (the owner) posts here in the dive watch forum.

    Micro Brands to follow

A-13A Pilot Watch - owner/designer Paolo Fanton is a member here. Only makes one watch — a pilot central min chrono like the old Lemania 5100s, and it’s a beauty.

Merci LMM-01 - Paris-based micro makes 4 variants (black or white dial, ETA 2801-2 or Ronda Quartz) of the same quirky field watch. Watches are a great alt to Hamilton.

Weiss - one of 3 or 4 US companies producing a manufacture movement (Cal 1003), but they also sell Swiss movement field watches that are spectacular and assembled in California w/otherwise locally manufactured parts. Has an unfortunate rap as a hipster brand or as some kind of adjunct to Shinola, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

Timefactors - tricky e-commerce site (never open!!), and an owner who has twice (at least) posted nasty comments about his buyers, but dang, dude makes some great watches under defunct British brands that he has acquired TMs to, most famously Smiths and Precista. His Smiths PRS29 is a slightly enlarged replica of the famous W10 British mil-spec field watch. His new Precista Quartz Cosc Diver (also mil-spec) has been selling like hot cakes. And you can find Smiths Everest watches (Expl homage) frequently preowned that transcend IMO their homage roots and is a striking, wearable, durable watch w/insane lume and a crazy domed crystal usually for under $350.

Gavox - one of the quirkiest brands out there, making spectacular multi function watches uses both mechanical and cutting edge quartz movements.
