Mido out with a new Multifort models

Mido just launched some new vintage models in a 40mm size and reasonably priced. They feature Mido's Power 80 movement or an upgraded COSC at additional cost.

I think they look pretty sharp but I would like the 6 o'clock indice removed and the date dropped down a little lower.

What do you think? (photo and article from WUS)

"Vintage inspired", all they need now is an expansion band.

Nice, but I think it would look better with the date window at 4:30.

I think it would look better without the date at all.

If this isn't sarcastic, I think this is the first time this sentence has ever been put on this forum.

Interesting inclusion of the pulsometer... and that date window definitely isn’t the worst I’ve seen. As long as it doesn’t cut into numerals(like Longines...) I’m good, and people want date windows.

Yeah, maybe a little too retro now. If you want your pulse taken I believe an Apple watch or other electronic device is the way to go.

Still a pretty sharp blue for under $1,000 retail and glad it's not just another 43mm model, which seems to be the new norm.

Skip the date, shrink the case by at least 10mm, make the case octagonal and use a bumper-wind movement. Use real cork for waterproofing the stem. Then it will be a vintage inspired Multifort.

Love the dial color, overall a solid design.

Nice to see another Mido Multifort pulsemeter. I believe they had another retro issue about 15 years ago. Overall I like the looks. I would drop the date entirely rather than attempt repositioning it.
