Miyota question. Thinking of unloading my Tropik...

I'm a huge Halios fan and wear my Bluering regularly. This past December I was in Vancouver and Jason Lim personally dropped off (what service!) a Tropik SS at my hotel. I love the look of it and it fits me perfectly, however I find myself not enjoying the Miyota movement. It actually makes the watch wear kind of clunky if that makes any sense. As it winds while I wear it the watch head wobbles and shakes and also seems much more audible than my other watches (a few ETA's and a Valjoux).

Does anyone else see this with Miyotas? Is this common to how a Miyota would wear?

You have 9015 movement which has undirectional winding. Rotor spins freely in the other direction. What you're experiencing is normal if you jerk your wrist suddenly.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to know its normal to wear like that. Unfortunately after a few months on and off the wrist I think I've decided it's not for me.

Guess you've never experienced the fun of a 7750 wobble? Just a characteristic of the movement.
