Mondaine "Stop-to-Go" Watch - Reset after battery change?

    Hey all -

First of all, it's great to be back on this forum - I used to be a participant about a million years ago.

Here's my problem - I have the aforementioned watch, and I've just gotten the battery changed. I remember from the original literature some magic one has to do to restore the "stop-to-go" action, involving a little button over the winder. Where's that literature now, I ask?

The watch seems to be working just fine, although the cool "STG" action isn't working. For the uninitiated, what happens is that the second hand stops at the top of each minute, and the minute hand advances all at once to the next minute.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

I've owned the same watch, but sold it.
Now I've found out these stop-to-go watches are not prouced anymore

At every battery change, the second hand will be reset. Otherwise the "stop-to-go" feature will bot function. To re-activate this function after batetry change, one have to push a small button at "2 o'clock".

    Good luck

    Thanks Hans -
In fooling around with the watch, I've gotten the action to work again, but it happens when the second hand is on the 4 and not the 12. Crazy.

    Hello!

I have a bit of an off-topic question. Could either of you tell me the model number of the "Stop-to-Go" watch you have? I'm having such trouble figuring out exactly which watch that is.

I bought the model A660.30314.11SBB, but either it doesn't have the "Stop-to-Go" or I simply don't know how to turn it on. I didn't see any kind of button aside from the crown.

    Thanks very much in advance!
