    movado series 800?????????????/

Hello all, New to the site but have been reading threads for a while. Im looking at getting a movado series 800. What do you think? I have small wrists 6.5- 7" and want something with a rotating bezel or chrono to keep up with time and a rubber style band.
I have also taken a look at the Tag aquaracer but it just had too many logos on the band. I would love to have an Omega mid-size but its just out of my price range.
    Looking for something around $800.
    Rubber style band.
    Case size around 38mm.
    Rotating bezel or chrono.
    Thanks,
    ps
I currently own a citizen diver quartz.

If it grabs you, grab it!

How to make a watch look stupid, pose it on it's crown.

    38mm is pretty small imo..

BTW, if you want the Tag, you can always buy an aftermarket strap for it if you dont like the original one. Straps are pretty cheap.

There's nothing small about 38mm. This oversized watch trend is getting out of hand IMO. Of course, this is coming from a guy with 6.5" wrists

The 800 series look nice, if you're going for something with a more traditional look than their trademark Museum dials. Movado makes good products and I think you'd be happy with it if it's really what you want.

BTW, I noticed in another thread that you are something of an outdoorsmen.. Ever thought about a Tissot T-Touch? Its one of the coolest watches on the market, and its right in your price bracket.

Check out this review if you arent familiar with it:

Hey, thanks for all the replies.... I agree with kspeed and oversized watches getting out of hand. imo
I am an outdoorsman and want a really good quality watch perferibly with a saphire crystal; my citizen is in pretty bad shape.
I just wanted to make sure the Movado was a decent watch and not just a pretty name.
    All comments appreciated.

You want to spend 800 on a quartz watch with a rubber strap?? I think you can do much better and it won't have the Movado name on it.

Here is a thread you might find some info in:

Do you have your eye on a specific 800 model? Yours looks like the 2600002, though I'm not sure it comes in any size smaller than 42mm.

V8, he can get it new for $600-650.

V8, I have actually read that thread.
I agree 600-800 is alot to pay for such a watch. The model I been thinking about is the 38mm. - 2600004.
Also, I have concidered the Tossot brand and particually the pr50. The reviews were not the best and I had a concern with their customer support. The t-touch was a little big for my taste.
    Decisions, decisions.
lol My wife tells me a I'm too picky.
