    My collection

    Comments welcome, Here they are:

Brand new (to me off e-bay) Wittau Chrono. Had my watchmaker take a look at it today, and he confirmed (and showed me) that it's actually ETA 7750 powered. I'm quite pleased since I only dropped around $200 on it.

Zodiac Automatic Day-Date on Zodiac Bracelet.

the crystal is in bad shape, but the rest of it is in good shape, and it keeps excellent time. It's got an ETA in it. Cant remember the model off the top of my head.

    Movado Bumper Wind:

Traser P5900 (blue vials), on a Maratec Bond strap

Paul Briguette (EBEL) Stainless from the '40s: (again, second hand got lost in the extended exposure)

Marvin Hermetic. If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.

    Benrus black dial automatic:

Seiko Bellmatic from the '60s (this one got a bit washed out in the pic)

    and finally,

Gold Filled Bulova Tank Watch: (the second hand is there, it just gets lost on the extended exposure)

If you want to see the inside of any of them, just say so. I didn't get that involved in my photo taking today.

All these taken with a little samsung 8MP point and shoot.

Nice vintage collection, the traser looks great on that strap. As far as a genuine ETA 7750 in the Wittau (), well let's just say that is quite a deal.

    Welcome to the forum.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with your front end. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with your rear end. Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall. Torque is how far you move the wall.

Thanks! I was quite surprised at the 7750 as well, but he showed it to me, it's got the ETA and 7750 stamps around the balance. Do the chinese stamp ETA?

I'll try and get the back off again while I'm at work tomorrow and get some pics of the movement.

That bond is my first maratec strap. It was a little rough when I received it, but after a little time with some scissors and a lighter, its quite comfortable.

    Thanks! :thanks

I looked at it, and that zodiac has an ETA 2790 in it.

Here's some pics of the movement in that Wittau

These pics are with a different camera from the shop, not as good. I'll try and get some better movement shots. It has the ETA hallmark and 7750 stamped under the balance in the right spots.

Here's a crap digital zoom on the ETA mark and the 7750 stamp. You can almost make them out.

Thanks! I've got a box full of some more that are soon to go up for sale.

Me too, it's been getting a LOT of wrist time lately. I kinda feel bad leaving a lot of those vintages in the box. Might have to bust a few out in the next couple days.

Also have a Orient Black Mako on a bracelet on the way.
