Pretty awesome and pretty bold. I probably wouldn't have the guts to pick up an SMP off Craigslist.

That's a haul indeed. Craigslist isn't my favorite place to get watches but you can definitely find deals on occasion.

Looks like you were at the right place at the right time.

    Good for you.

Awesome! I would definitely meet at a shop to verify I think but who knows.

Nice collection from Craiglist - particularly the Mühle-Glashütte find.

    Enjoy your haul from Craiglist.

I probably should have, but all bar the Seiko mini-Turtle were bought from other watch enthusiasts who were looking to move onto something else. 20 minutes of watch-talk over coffee and Starbucks generally precedes the completion of the transaction. Maybe I'm naive but have not been burned yet, though once will be enough!

Of course you can find watches on CL. Deciding if it was a good haul or a bad haul has to do with how much you paid for the haul.

All I've ever seen on CL is overpriced, abused watches (mostly Invicta and Fossil). I'm a skeptic and not a gambler whatsoever plus I know of too many CL rip-offs to ever buy a watch there but if you score, congratulations.
