    My Festina Limited edition watch

I got a New watch Festina F16883/1 Tour de france 2016 limited edition
I love the bronze color and legendary design of it

I have one issue with it maybe someone can help me with
There is no buttons for Setting Chronograph hour and minuts.
I can only reset it to zero (12 position).

What i do is stop the watch, then i have to wait some hours until is 12 O'clock
then start the watch again so watch and cronograph all run smoothly.
I have read the manual there is no way to correct the cronograph only reset it.

Is there another way to correct the cronograph so i dont have to wait hours until 12 O'clock

Sorry, buddy. You have to wait hours until 12 O'clock. Nice watch by the way.

I think your Festina has a Japanese quartz movement in it. Yes, there is a way to reset your chronograph hands. Pull the main crown to position 1, then play with the top pusher by holding it down and it should start advancing the chronograph hand until it resets to 12. Pull the main crown to position 1, then play with the bottom pusher by press and hold it to reset the minute counter.

This is from my memory of a Seiko quartz chronograph I had awhile back.

Sorry this metod do not work.
In position 1 top pusher bottom move the big hand second not chronograph, bottom pusher reset both hour and minute chronograph to 12, maybe is a way to reset the watch to another time than 12?

So when time is far from 12.00 or 2400 i get the problem that i can not synch the chronograph to be same time as hour and minute hand, so it have same time.

Only metod that worked for me is

    1. near 12 o clock i pull the crown to stop the watch when secons chronograph is at 12 so it stop at 12 (no reset button for seconds chronograph)
    2. watch now stopped then i adjust big watch hands hours, minuts to 12 by moving crown to position 2 and moving it
    3. then put crown back to position 1 , Press top pusher so big second hand move to 12, now both big seconds and chronograph second is set to 12
    4. Now i reset minute and hour chronograph both by just one press on bottom pusher
    5. Now all watches is set to 12 now i wait until time is 12 oclock then i push crown back in to start chronograph second and very fast followed by pushing top pusher to start big watch second
so both big second hand and chronograph second start together.
    6. Now everything work

This metod is what i use, and there must be some other metod, i want to set the chronograph hour anytime not wait until is 12, as soon i reset it on buttom pusher it goes to 12

Re: My Festina Limited edition watch

The dirt strain on calendar does not move when date is changed so it must be on top of a inner crystal layer and not on the calendar painting itself
so is not the painting peeling off, not sure what it is if is strain, dust, pieze of something it is smale.

I contacted the Festina factory their answer is that they dont intend for now to change the watch for a new one
even if is only 1 week and is a failure from their factories:

You must send in the watch for cleaning or repair of the calendar
you can go to any of our Time road stores and they will clean or repair it for you.

WHAT? 1 week new watch and i going to have it repaired when problem is from Festina factory
paid almost 400 euro for this watch.

Re: My Festina Limited edition watch

Sadly the Watch Festina F16883/1 have a mechanical failure
Calendar not change automatic when is 24 every night when a new day start.
I am checking the watch now to see if the calendar change date this night.

Calendar have a brown strain, the strain is on top of the calendar square not on the calendar itself, Strain dosnt move when date is changed manually, and the date wont change automaticly

Date do work changing it manually
    1. Pull the crown out to 1 position and move the crown anticlockwise to change date as instruction booklet says
    2. Or Pull the crown out to 2 position and move the big hour hands 24 times to get to a new day then date change manually.
Then pulling the crown back the Date should change automaticly at 24 o clock but it does not, only manually work, it should change date automatic every night.
This watch is 2 weeks old and have a value of 490 euro.

A strain spot in the calendar is a aesthetic factory defect
with this Festina watch company should change the Watch but they dont want to

If watch also came with a broken watch box (The shop changed that not long ago) then is a broken packaging
the piezes that hold the watch in the box was broken when the watch came.
If the calendar not change automatic that is a mechanical failure from factory with right to immediate return
Now i have to get ready to return the watch if i see the calendar not change date.

    Very bad experienice with Festina
