Picture My First New Watch in Eight Years (Smiths Everest)...

**Refer to my post further down for a direct upload of the photos to WUS... thanks!**

After a lot of thought and investigation, and a 2k budget set by The 1st National Bank Of Wife (that I refused to spend), I just took delivery of this lil' fella...

...and could not be more pleased!! Absolutely in love with it!

    36mm Smiths Everest.

One of my favorite watches of all time, so much so that I bought it twice! The only microbrand that I can think of that has a better build and better specs for the money is the Smiths PRS-29b, and itís probably a tie between them. Timefactors produces some really excellent watches.

Congrats on the purchase, youíll love it!

PS ó I canít see OPís pics either (and really want to)

Iíve heard great things about the revived Smiths watches, and actually have a PRS-29AM in transit as we speak. Depending on how I like it I may add the Everest as well. Eddie seems like a good dude and the quality to price ratio seems to be great based on all the reviews Iíve read.

They took a minute to load, but I can see them now. Nice choice! I really like the hands and dial.

There are loading issues using Imgur's platform - Do a search for IMGUR aissues on WUS's search engine.

Did view your B&W photos by double clicking on the attachment images within your post. The watch looks to be an excellent fit for your wrist size.

Congratulations and enjoy your Smiths Everest.

Ok...now I can see the pics. It looks great. Now I’m even more excited to see mine.

How do you like the clasp? A lot of the people in the timefactors forum felt it was too large and were swapping out bracelets. Supposedly Eddie will have a new version coming out sooner or later...maybe even riveted. I also have an alpha explorer bracelet waiting at home that I’m hoping will work out.

If it’s a nice a watch as I think it will be, I’ll probably order a few more as gifts.
