Very nice. Reminds me that I have a nice 35mm Benrus Sea Lord that I don't wear nearly enough.
Encourage someone. The world has enough critics.

Nice Accumatic VIII. It looks to be all original.

It still glows but only very funny and only for a few minutes. What did they use for lume compound, then?

The watch was made around the time that radium was being phased out in favour of tritium so it could be either. Rolex used radium up until about 1960. It's use was banned in 1968.

Does radium have to be charged?

I don't think so. The radioactivity is what charges it. If the lume still glows it's probably more likely to be radium given that it has a half-life of 1,600 years compared to 12 years for tritium.

Nice! So if it's radium does that mean it's not exactly safe to wear a lot?
