    My IWC Portuguese (with pics)

Hi all! Just thought I'd share a couple pictures of my Portuguese Chrono. I picked it up about a year ago and have loved it ever since. Obviously its entirely subjective, but I think its one of the cleanest most beautiful dials ever produced. I love the color, the rose gold hands, the slight doming of the crystal, the depth the sub dials provide, the beautiful pushers...I think it all just works so well together. There's so much attention to detail from the slightly curved tips of the hands to the applied minute markers, I just love it. It's a watch that every time I wear I find myself looking down throughout the night thinking "wow what a beautiful watch." From an aesthetics standpoint, I think IWC created a true masterpiece and it's been a joy since the day I brought it home.

    ThymeKeeper,

That IWC Portuguese is one beautiful watch. The Portuguese has always been one of my favorite IWC's. Congrats on obtaining such a wonderful watch.

I agree 100%! This has been a classic since it first came out so many years ago. I had my eyes on a Rattrapant and sure wished I'd pulled the trigger.

Congrats on the anniversary! Completely agree with you. I have the same one and I often catch myself looking at it throughout the day. Everything about it is just...right.

Wish it was a bit smaller, but that's really on me and not on IWC

Definitely one of the most iconic timepieces.

I do agree that it is one of the most beautiful dials in the world.

    Mine says "hi" to yours!

41mm, so they are smaller than any watch in my collection.
