Smile Is my new Brietling Colt Chronometer too big?

    Hey there

So I just got home from living abroad the and my parents decided to gift me with a Brietlng Colt Chrono automatic - literally still in shock, ive never owned a watch of this category or given a present like this - literally almost shed a tear. hah anyway I am a little worried that it is too big - I love the watch.

    Diameter - 44mm
    height - 15mm
My wrist size - approx 6.25inch

Im curious do you think it looks too big? Im a muscly guy so i feel like it works.

    Kind Regards

    RJ

In the first couple of shots it looks a little big but it’s fine in the next 2, so I’d say you’re good as somehow the last 2 feel more ‘real world’.

Is my new Brietling Colt Chronometer too big?

In the first two pictures it looks a little bit overbearing, a large presence.

It reminds me of a cartoon, Ben 10, which my nephew watched.

Joke aside, I have a similar wrist size and I just sold my planet ocean 42, as I felt it was a tad large for my wrist imo.

But, by today standards, I think you can pull it off

Looks good to me. My wrist is the same size as yours and I wear a Breitling 44 as well.

I think it looks just fine. Wrist shots are always a bit misleading, but in the pulled-back shot it looks right at home. More important is how it feels and whether it’s comfortable. If it feels good, all is well. If it’s flopping and rolling, then ya’ gotta have a little heart to heart with yourself.

Congrats on a really nice gift. Enjoy.

It's on the big side and I wouldn't wear it with a dress shirt but it doesn't look ridiculous as a sporty watch.
