Been looking at these off and on for a while and got a chance to spend some close up time with the on my last business trip. I liked a lot of the options I saw, but the one that stood out to me the most was the brushed bronze dial. This comes with an Ostrich strap, which is cool, but I really like their bracelet as well, so I may order one later. Thankfully they don't kill you when you buy the bracelet seperately.
I went with the bronze for the great color of the dial, but the other thing that appealed to me was that for some reason the bronze version seemed to have more depth to it than some of the other variations. The applied indices really seem to pop out making for a very 3D look.
This is a departure compared to some other watches I have and that I've gone through recently. For one this is my one watch with a central seconds hand, everything else has a seconds sub dial. This is also not German. But of course the most obvious thing is that it is considerably bigger.
That being said, the lug to lug length is about the same as my Ahoi Atlantik, so whereas the Ahoi wears big for its size, this wears a smaller and really hugs my wrist. I bought my Ahoi from Dan at Timeless luxury and called him and Anna again for this. Apparently it had just came in the day before and hadn't even been put on display yet.
Anyway, here are some pics with the rest of the current collection.![]()
