just out of curiosity, did you buy it direct from their UK/USA website....or from a local AD?
I've been eyeing a couple of CWs, mostly their aviator line, particularly the Battle of Britain memorial watch and the C8 MK-1. I may have to raise the bar to get to the C40 Speedhawk price range....That C40 is a beauty! Wear it in good health.

For now, I may have to start with the C8 Pilot or the KingFisher Diver watch which are both within my price range.

Blueking- Thanks for the kind words. I bought it on the Christopher Ward USA website...I waited almost a year until I saw this watch go on their NEARLY NEW sale...got 30% of the normal price which is a hell of a deal for the Valjoux 7750 movement. If you sign up for their emails you'll get notice when they have these sales...they don't happen very often so you have to keep your eye out. My next watch will likely by the C8 MK II.

Wow. That presentation is remarkable. It looks like a first class buying experience.

And congrats on your grail! It's always fun to read posts with such enthusiasm behind it.

Damn me....$609 on their sale...for a 7750 with Sapphire and etc, biting tongue and restraining credit card, which is attempting to leap online from my wallet. Nice watch!

Is it just the angle of the photos, the angle of the bevel-to-flash, or what, but are the chrony dials slightly out of round?
