    Laughing My "new" Magrette Regattare...

Been wanting this watch ever since I saw it on their website a long time ago. Unfortunately, Magrette sold out and never offered this watch again (DLC with ETA movement). I was finally able to find a decent one at a decent price so I jumped on it (thanks fellow WUS)!

First impression on the watch is that it is pretty sweet for the price (still a great buy at retail price which was around $525 for it). There are some minor imperfections here and there that are understandable at that price point, but overall it is a great looking piece. It is just a nice fun piece. Sure it looks a bit like Anonimo... but I still think it is pretty cool .

Here's the new to me Magrette Regattare DLC... some shots of it next to the other brothers that share a similar case style.

    Beautiful!
First time I see it beside a Panerai, and as I suspected, it does look very paneraish to my eyes. The only thing I'm not sure about is the strap.
    Cheers!

The one on the Lum-Tec was a random strap I found on ebay... if you are interested in the make PM me and I'll look it up for you.

I took advantage of the Panatime sale so I have 4 new straps coming my way... may change the strap on the Magrette hehe.

Very very nice indeed, I always liked the idea of DLC coating on a watch, it's a dream come true for those of us who hate scratches and/or worry about them. Plus the all black looks very nice in addition to the hardness. Also I love that Panerai in the photo (especially with that strap combo), wow, and by the way that's one hell of a collection of watches you have . Just one question, is that Magrette automatic or quartz?

Thanks! The Magrette has an ETA automatic movement.
