Yours is a very attractive watch and the latest in the long running Alpinist series. I believe Alpinist began in the 1960's. Take some bigger pictures when you get a chance. Also post your find on the Seiko and Citizen forum here on WUS.

I keep hoping a Seiko Perpetual Calendar Alpinist will appear for sale but so far no luck.

Good choice, and great seller to buy from. Seiko's like yours are very underrated and you won't see a lot of them on everyone's wrist, so enjoy it.

Have always liked the look of that, a lot because of that shade of green. While blue is my color, that green occupies the 2nd fav color slot, hearty congrats!!

Welcome to the club! A wonderful watch and exceptional value for money. With the green dial and gold accents, it's also one of the more attractive watches around in my opinion and mine garners plenty of comments from people.
