My new Timex TX 300 Perpetaul Calendar

    Some quick and dirties

It has a very cool crown. It doesn't dig into the back of the hand at all. The site says 45mm, but it feels smaller. They could have been measuring the case and crown together. The watch has an interesting shape. It is smaller around the bezel and widens towards the case back.

I really like the retrograde month and day. The pointer date is cool as well. The hands, indices, and numerals are a really nice blue. It has a nice sculpted dial with various textures.

I didn't take any crown or case back pictures. The crown has a TX logo. The TX logo is silver set in black enamel. Very nice touch. The case back has a TX logo and other info.

    Very cool packaging.

It'll keep the correct date until 2100. Very cool technology. It also has a feature to show the leap years. When the crown is pulled to the middle position, the pointer date will point to the 1, 2, 3 or 4.

I went to Saks of Fifth Avenue yesterday and they had a nice selection of the TX watches, except for the Series 500 World Timer. I had a chance to check out the Flyback Chronograph and play with it. It is one cool watch and wore very nice on my wrist. It has a lot of goodies like Compass, 2nd Timezone, and of course the Flyback function.

Overall I am really impressed with them. They are of a higher quality than the regular Timex watches. They all come with a Sapphire Crystal and higher grade Stainless Steel case. The bracelet on mine is nice, but nothing too exciting. It has solid end links and a push button double folding deployant. There are a lot of strap options for this watch like blue, brown, black, etc.

    Comments are always welcome

One day I will get better photos.

I like these too!! The design is great. Don't they also do one with a gold bezel? It might just be in the WorldTimer, I'm not sure. A great looking watch all the same!!

Looks really nice. Great textures and detail !
The stock manufacturers photo just doesn't do it justice.
I'm sure that it must be even better in 3-D

You are correct. The Word Timer has the rose gold bezel. Unfortunately they were out of stock.

It is an awesome design. It's cool how they can take one movement design and fit it with different functions like the World Time, Flyback Chrongraph and Perpetual Calendar.

There are some great textures on this dial. I was totally surprised at how better looking they are in person.

    Now that's a TEXAS watch!
