    My new Tourbillon....

...It's Chinese, ST8000. You were expecting Lemania, maybe? I got it today, after a few delightful days of explaining to the seller WHY HE SHOULDN'T WAIT TWO WEEKS TO SHIP. He shipped it in 2 days. After leaving it two weeks. Anyway, it's nice. Surprisingly nice, although the plywood straps it came with are far too thick for the watch. More pics and a review will follow....

Where have I seen that dial before? Some WW II watch, had something to do with boats or frogs or pans or something.

Plywood, that is funny. If you like thick straps, thickness does not equal stiff. For example, you can get a 4.5mm from Micah that feels like it has been worn for 20 years and look spanking new. Handmade is like putting on your favorite pair of old shoes, just feels right. Enjoy your new watch.
