    My New Valkyrie #22

It just arrived, I took out the camera, and suddenly realized I could tell the time better than I could take a picture ; forgive the blur & glare. I couldn't wait to take it out and put it through the paces. After inspecting what turned out to be a flawless case (both front & back), I wound it and set both date & time. I immediately noticed how beautifully compact it was; by compact I mean lots of quality per sq. mm. It became abundantly clear to me that a watch does not have to be massive, or large for that matter, to be a quality timepiece. My wrist size is 8 1/4"; I originally had the impression that watch size or cases equal to or less than 42mm would seem small. I was/am apparently wrong. All I can say of the Valkyrie's look is quality, quality, quality; it simply bleeds with quality . The blue second hand against the black dial is striking. I put a 22mm brown aviator's strap with a quality deployant, and "POW" a perfect, everyday watch that works well in the office as well as it does in the left seat.

    Very, very, nice job Ian

    Congratulations mate.
Looks great on that aviator strap. The large dial really does make it look a lot larger than the dimensions suggest.

Very nice looking, readable watch! I've admired these for a while. I'm new to this world of watches, but I'm surprised this design hasn't really taken off. It makes the few of you who own them more rarified, if nothing else.
