I have seen this a lot in Rolex. The section I marked in red cannot take off? Why people always leave them on when they try to attach Rolex with leather?

In sport models with aftermarket straps, they are custom end links. They are used to bridge the gap between the case and the lugs, or to make the strap look more integrated into the case. It gives it a more fluid look and is an oem option for Daytonas on straps, and maybe a few others I'm not aware of.

Personally not a fan of end links with straps.

To the OP. LVC looks very bold with in setup!

Looking great, been thinking of getting one of this end link strap for my sub or explorer. Does the strap get fit into the existing link or straps come with their own end links?

First of all, those pictures are awesome and your watch looks so bad ass. Just wait until St. Patrick's Day - everyone will want to wear it. Secondly, I have been considering for some time now placing my DJII - a watch I really love but want to reserve for more dressy occasions - on a nice leather strap. WHERE do I find those end-links and corresponding straps, my friend? They look PERFECT on your watch. Thanks for your time.

I know I'm a bit contrarian here and I certainly don't want to offend, but I'm really not a fan of the endlinks with that particular watch. To me it adds to what are already too wide lugs.

I much prefer the look without the endlinks...but then again, I would have purchased an earlier model sub with thinner lugs.

There are a number of places to get them, for a range of price and quality -- just Google "Rolex end links." Everest Bands makes nice ones that come with a semi-integrated strap, for example.
