    Is my watch a homage?

    Is my Lum-Tec Bull45 a homage?

Some may say it is a bit derivative of this Bell & Ross:

    Thoughts?

NO again... similar font, but overall it is different enough IMHO.

Yes, it takes some design cues for sure - but it isn't a copy. I'd call it borderline.

Re: Is my watch a homage?

For my taste the similarities are different enough that I wouldn't call it an homage.

I doubt that Lum Tec was paying homage to Bell & Ross when they made that watch. They developed a watch with several similar features because they wanted to sell watches. Is it an exact copy or a knockoff? No, there are many differences, some subtle and others not so subtle.

I would call it an homage, but that doesn't necessarily mean copy, and it definitely isn't a bad word in my book.

Yes! It's a homage to Cessna.
