    Name for this part

    Hi all,

What do you call the outer ring seen in these two watches (PAM 349 and Vulcain Golden Voice, respectively)? They are used as indices. I'm thinking they are non-conventional chapter rings, but there probably is a name for it.

    As always, thanks in advance!
